Kizlyar brandy factory increased semi-annual production by 30%, sales – by 36%

SC „Kizlyar Brandy Factory” (KKZ, Dagestan) in January-June 2022 increased its production by 30.2% compared to the same period in 2021 – up to 331.44 thousand dal, the General plant director Evgeny Druzhinin.


Sales of finished products increased by 36% – up to 332.17 thousand deciliters.

According to Druzhinin, the plant maintains its previously announced plans to produce and sell 600,000 decalitres of products in 2022.

„The plant regularly works to expand the channels and geography of sales of finished products. In the first half of 2022, meetings were held and contracts were signed with new counterparties in Nizhny Novgorod, Saratov, Lyubertsy, Astrakhan, Yakutsk and Tver,” Druzhinin said.

There are more than 200 items in the assortment of the plant.

Kizlyar Cognac Factory was founded in 1885 by David Sarajishvili. Now it is one of the few Russian enterprises with a full production cycle, from the purchase and processing of grapes to bottling. Every year the enterprise processes more than 42 thousand tons of grapes, which it buys in Dagestan, Chechnya and the Stavropol Territory.

FSUE „Kizlyar Brandy Factory” in February 2018 was transformed into JSC „KKZ”, 100% of whose shares are in federal ownership. At the end of 2021, the company received revenue under RAS in the amount of 2.819 billion rubles, which is 26.8% more than a year earlier, net profit decreased by 12.3%, to 425.842 million rubles.
