European stocks closed higher on Friday

Major European stock indexes closed trading on Friday with growth of 2-3% after a two-day decline, according to trading data.

As a result of trading, the British FTSE 100 index rose by 1.69%, to 7159.01 points, the French CAC 40 – by 2.04%, to 6036 points, the German DAX – by 2.76%, to 12864.72 points.

European quotes recovered on Friday after falling markedly in the previous two trading sessions. Such dynamics was facilitated by expectations of a global recession in the event of a sharp increase in the discount rate by the US Federal Reserve.
